2007-08-01 : Director – Product concept and development

Pierre Girouard, VP Operations, announces the arrival of Stéphane Rheault in the capacity of Director – Product concepts and development. Stéphane is an engineer by trade with tons of relevant experience. He spent many years in the industrial sector and has considerable expertise in the creation and development of tailor-made products and solutions. His considerable talent, remarkable level of energy and high level of creativity will be put to good use in delivering innovative and viable solutions to our demanding clients.




2007-06-18 : Director – Project Management

Pierre Girouard, VP Operations, takes great pleasure in announcing the promotion of Denys Langevin to the critical position of Director – Project Management. Denys has been with the company for a long time and in many capacities. Denys is a disciplined and rigorous individual and these talents will be put to good use. In his new role, Denys will be asked to ensure all our clients will benefit not only from uniquely ergonomic and innovative solutions but also from timely delivery at agreed upon budgets.




2007-06-18 : Vice-President – Operations

Guy Duchesne, president of Plafolift, announces the promotion of Pierre Girouard to the new position of Vice-President – Operations. Pierre has worn the hats of many directors over the years and this promotion is richly deserved. Pierre has an uncanny ability to identify real client needs and to then put his teams on exactly the right track. This has consistently made it possible for Plafolift to deliver creative solutions to demanding lifting challenges within very tight deadlines. Pierre, in many ways, exemplifies the heart and soul of what it means to be a Plafolift employee.




2007-02-27 : New Profit-Sharing Program

Guy Duchesne, president of Plafolift, takes great pleasure in announcing a new profit-sharing program for all Plafolift employees. The program is the result of an employee consultation effort that went on for three months. A committee representing management and employees then made its recommendations to the Board of directors. Their proposal was not only well received but immediately and unanimously approved by the Board. This program recognizes the importance of employee satisfaction in our quest to always better satisfy our clients. Guy Duchesne insists on the fact that « We do everything we can to be recognized as an organization that truly performs. It is key for the Board and myself to develop programs that reward our managers and workers if we attain our aggressive but realistic objectives ».
