We produce custom-made lifting products for the Government of Quebec (Ministry of Transportation) that allow them to better inspect the bridges all over the province. We also produce the same type of truck-mounted scissor lifts for private companies who do idendical work for local governments. We have also worked with Novabus producing highly specialized lift tables for their production lines. We are also closely involved with both arms of the Montreal Transit Authority in the supplying of lifting tables that facilitate the maintenance of subway cars and buses. We have also acquired considerable expertise in automotive production lines for an important European manufacturer of automobiles. We have recently come up with an innovative way to offload baby chicks from the delivery trucks of the Federated Coop of Quebec to client hen houses. Hen houses are expanding…upwards, in fact as high as three floors high. Our solution is the Plafolift Baby Chick Elevator that incorporates a column driven elevator. Delivery truck attendants can now single-handedly deliver 69,000 chicks per hour while reducing the stress level of the chicks and making the whole process safer for both the delivery person and the receiver. This new application will be rolled out to beer and soft drink producers and distributors, and a host of new types of clients. |
