We have teams of technicians on the road to handle emergency repairs or carry out preventative maintenance.
These technicians, trained by Plafolift, make their calls with fully loaded service trucks. They can make pretty much make all kinds of repairs, except those that are structural in nature or for very large cylinders that may be leaking. In better than 90% of cases, they get the repair job done right there, on-site.
Besides repair work, our technicians do provide customers with on-site inspections and preventative maintenance work for aerial work platforms that have gone without an inspection for a year or for more than 200 hours, whichever comes first. These are mandatory inspections as per the standard and the CSST is mandated to ensure these inspections are carried out. Our people inspect and do the repairs if needed within the framework of the CSA B354.2 standard and they provide the required documentation. Our techs can do this kind of work on all aerial work platforms including JLG, Genie and Skyjack.
Our on-the-road service teams also provide repair and warranty work for all our other lifting products: Freight elevators, lifting tables, loading docks, truck-mounted scissor lifts, etc.
An enviable service record: 75% of calls coming into our service centre get same day service and the rest within 24 hours.
